Rodrigo Terpins Brazilian’s Greatest Rally Driver

Rodrigo Terpins is one of the greatest sportsmen Brazil has produced to date. Mr. Rodrigo comes from a rich sporting family where his younger is also a Sertões Rally driver and their father a famed basketball player of the 1960s and the 1970s and also a retired sports President. Despite picking up a different sport, the Terpins cite their father as their motivation when it comes to joining sports.

In addition to being influenced by their father to join the sport, Rodrigo and Michael love for speed is also what led the two to rally racing. The brothers are part of the Bull Sertoes Rally team and compete at the annual Sertões Rally competition. Sertões Rally is a famous competition that brings together drivers from different teams to compete for the ultimate prize. Arguably, the 22nd Sertões Rally edition was one of the most difficult competitions of all time. Nonetheless, Rodrigo Terpins was able to put a good fight and represented his team well. The event comprised of 2,600 kilometers, seven stages in 2 states marking it the longest off-road rally edition in Brazil. In addition to the long terrains, this competition had a lot of adversities including bad weather, safety, and inconsiderable terrains. Despite all these, Rodrigo Terpins and his experienced navigator Fabrício Bianchini were able to secure their esteemed podium position. This duo emerged position three in the Prototypes T1 category and position eighth overall out of 38 competitors. Commenting on the progress of the event, Rodrigo Terpins pointed out that despite the competition being tough, the ride was nice and the result one he was contented with.
