Deere got her start in Russia, where she grew up. It wasn’t until she turned 17 that she had moved to The United States – New York City, to be exact. She had lots to learn from then on, and learn she did. Setting her sites on her goals – Doe Deere started out as a musician and songwriter in a band. She often credits that time of her life to teaching her much needed lessons about running a business, such as appreciating loyal customers and learning the marketing ropes. It was here that she met her soon to be husband, and soon to be business partner.
